I am an emerging ceramic artist whose work is grounded in connection to place and material. Much of my work is inspired by my surrounding landscapes, and I often dig and process my own clay, allowing the landscape to directly inform the finished pieces. I work across wheel-throwing, hand-building as well as slip-casting and I am increasingly exploring alternative firing methods and surface decoration techniques. I enjoy creating functional and sculptural pieces.
