Cathy and Steve believe in repurposing items that have out-lived their use.
Nearly all of Steve's wooden items are made from recycled pallets, from his popular Adirondack chairs to his wine rackets and many more.
Cathy likes to use many different mediums.
Her woven bags, handmade material and rag rugs are made using just that – left over material. Old jeans become bags and oven mitts. Cathy also works with leadlight, stain glass, mosaic using leftover glass, and
Yvonne Groves is a long time Portland resident and has been potting for 40 years. She is sharing studio space with Cathy and Steve. She creates a beautiful range of small sculptures, pots, platters and plates. She uses a colour mix of persian blues, copper reds, crackle whites and lustrous green to make beautiful ceramic art.
